indicationandrejectionofotherservices)endsassoonastheEmergencyPrivateCallends.
3.6.5EmergencyMS-ISDNCall
TheEmergencyMS-ISDNcallsaresimplexorduplextelephonecallswithemergencypriority.Onpressingthe
EMERGENCYbutton,yourradioinitiatesanEmergencyMS-ISDNcalltothepredenedMS-ISDNnumber.
TheMS-ISDNcalltype(simplexorduplex)ispredenedbyyourserviceprovider.
3.6.6EmergencyAlarm
TheEmergencyAlarmisaspecialstatusmessagesenttotheinfrastructureonenteringtheEmergencyMode.The
radiomaywaitforinfrastructureacknowledgmentforthisalarmandattemptretries.
EachtimetheradioenterstheEmergencyMode,itsendsanEmergencyAlarm.WhenanEmergencyAlarmissent
successfully,yourradioplaysEmergencyAlarmSenttone.DuetoabsenceofthedeliveryconrmationinDMO
Mode,AlarmSentinformationconrmsonlysendingthealarm.
Inaddition,oncetheradioisintheEmergencyModeonpressingtheEMERGENCYbutton,anadditional
EmergencyAlarmissent.ThemessagecanbedispatchedbothinTMOandDMOModes.
YourserviceprovidercandisabletheEmergencyAlarmfeature.
3.6.7HotMicrophone
TheHotMicrophoneallowsyoutotalkwithoutpressingthePTTbuttononenteringtheEmergencyMode.The
transmissioncontinuesforaprovisionedamountoftime.
ThisfeaturecanbeenabledforthePrivateEmergencyCall.
PressingthePTTbuttonbeforetheHotMicrophonetimeexpiresendsthetransmission.ThennormalPTToperation
takesover(thatis,thetransitionisongoingforthetimethePTTbuttonisheld).SubsequentEMERGENCYbutton
pressesduringtheEmergencyModeinitiatestheHotMicrophonetransmissionagain.
