Customize
Backlight
Set the amount of time that the display,
java apps., the Boost logo and the PTT
button backlights remain on, or turn off
backlights to extend battery life.

To access Datebook set up options:

You can view or change these options:
Start View
— Sets Datebook to start in
day view, week view, or month view
when you access Datebook.
Daily Begin
Sets the beginning of
your day. This is the earliest time of day
displayed in week view, if you have a 12-
hour day view.
Delete After
— Sets the amount of time
Datebook waits to delete an event after
it occurs.
Time Shift
— Lets you shift the times of
all Datebook events. This is useful if you
are traveling to a different time zone.
Alert Timeout
— Sets the amount of
time a tone continues to sound when
you receive a Datebook reminder.
Clock
— Controls whether the time and
date appear on the home screen; sets
time and date format.
Hide or show location
information
Your phone is equipped with a Location
feature for use in connection with
location-based services that may be
available in the future.
The Location feature allows the network
to detect your position. Turning Location
off will hide your location from everyone
except 911.
Note: Turning Location on will allow the
network to detect your position using
