•Duplexcall(ifthesystemallows),inTMOMode.Bothpartiescanspeakatthesametime.
•Simplexcall,inTMOorDMOMode.Onlyonepartycanspeakatatime.
WhenaDMOPrivateCalltakesplace,radiosnotinvolvedinthiscallreceivethechannelbusyindication.The
radiosareidentiedusingitsradionumbers.
Interactionwiththeaccessories:
•FistMicrophone—duringthePrivateCall,ifyouhangthemicrophoneintotheclipthecallendsorthe
audioswitchestothespeakers(ifconnected).
•TelephoneStyleHandset—duringthePrivateCall,ifyouhandthehandsetintotheholder,thecallendsor
theaudioswitchestothespeakers(ifconnected).

Thisfeatureallowsyoumakeaprivatecalltoaskforassistanceduringnormalandnon-criticalsituations.
YoucanstartanAssistanceCallinoneofthefollowingway:
•DialapredenednumberandpressSENDkey.
•Menu→More→Services→AssistanceCall
Yourserviceprovidercancongurethenumber,priority,andthetypeofthecall(simplexorduplex).
3.3LocalSiteTrunking
ThismodeisalsocalledasFallbackModeanditallowsmorethanoneradiofromthesamesitetocommunicate
whenthelinkbetweenthesiteandthenetworkcentralcontrollerfails.EnteringandexitingLocalSiteTrunking
(thatis,returningtoSystemWideServices)isdoneautomatically.Inthismodesomeservicesareunavailable.
